We should always do what is right, even when things get hard or scary! One should have courage and face their fears. A big part of having courage is to always doing what is right even if one is scared. It was my last basketball game and i was scared to death! I didn't want to play because i was afraid to mess up but i knew my team needed me. They were counting on me! I could have easily not showed up but even if i was scared to death i did the right thing and showed up!

Wellness Professional

Duties and Responsibilities:

Wellness specialists work for schools, local governments, companies or other organizations to suggest, support and train people on their health and fitness goals. The types of concerns are as varied as weight and diabetes prevention and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. A specialist often consults with people directly on lifestyle, eating and exercise habits and may direct an individual to a doctor for any serious health concerns.

Salary:

$53,100 

Education:

A wellness specialist often has a degree in a related discipline such as nursing, fitness or sports medicine. There are no specific requirements, but many positions require on-the-job training in addition to certification from accredited wellness organizations such as the International Association of Wellness Professionals.

Reflection:
 I would't what to do this for a living. I don't have a good reason but i just don't think i would like it. It's not something i can see myself doing!!

I don't really understand this quote but i believe it is true. I think we should always do well so we can have honor. We all have a roll in life and i think this quote is saying one should be able to complete it and have a good live. One should not have to worry about once honor if we do what is right. 

Orthodontist

Duties and Responsibilities:

Orthodontists generally work with the help of an orthodontic assistant to analyze and solve the dental problems of their patients. Daily activities may include evaluating the needs of new patients, creating teeth molds, fitting orthodontic appliances and checking on the progress of individual patients. After receiving the proper education and certification, an orthodontist may choose to open his or her own practice or join an established practice.

Salary:

 $186,320 

Education:

College undergraduates who are interested in a career in orthodontia will most likely benefit from coursework or a major in science. Dental schools are selective, and admission requirements include an acceptable score on the Dental Admission Test (DAT); high grade point averages and recommendations may also be required. Once admitted, students usually complete the program in four years, after which, they receive an additional three years of specialized orthodontic training. A state license is required to practice; additional certifications may be available from the American Dental Association and the American Board of Orthodontists.

Refection: I wouldn't want to be this because i don't like working with mouths. It just grosses me out because i think of all the germs and disgusting bacteria inside them. How ever i like how much they make but i wouldn't do it for the money alone.

Student Success Statement

I strongly respect the people who believe this but i personally believe that honor isn't all that great. Sometimes it can be the reason for your death!! I'm not saying you shouldn't have any but you have to be careful  and not take it to far. Learn when it's okay to give in. 

Oral Care Professional

Duties and Responsibilities:

Dental hygienists remove tartar, stains, and plaque from teeth. Apply sealants and fluorides to help protect teeth. Take and develop dental x rays. Keep track of patient care and treatment plans. Teach patients oral hygiene techniques, such as how to brush and floss correctly. Dental hygienists use many types of tools to do their job. They clean and polish teeth with hand, power, and ultrasonic tools. In some cases, they remove stains with an air-polishing device, which sprays a combination of air, water, and baking soda. They polish teeth with a powered tool that works like an automatic toothbrush. Hygienists use x ray machines to take pictures to check for tooth or jaw problems.

Salary:

The lowest 10 percent earned less than $46,540, and the top 10 percent earned more than $96,280.

Education:

Dental hygienists typically need an associate’s degree in dental hygiene. Bachelor's degrees in dental hygiene are also available, but are less common. A bachelor's or master's degree is usually required for research, teaching, or clinical practice in public or school health programs.
High school students interested in becoming dental hygienists should take courses in biology, chemistry, and mathematics. Some dental hygiene programs also require applicants to have completed at least 1 year of college. Specific entrance requirements vary by school.
Most schools offer laboratory, clinical, and classroom instruction. Hygienists study anatomy, physiology, nutrition, radiography, and periodontology, which is the study of gum disease

I would not like to be this bc i just can't stand teeth. I find them every gross and it doesn't pay as much as i would like to earn.
