Osteopathic Physician, D.O

Duties and responsibilities: 
                        A osteopathic physician uses accepted methods of diagnosing and treating injuries and diseases. They practice in all branches of medicine and surgery but they differ by emphasizing the importance of the musculoskeletal system, holistic medicine, proper nutrition, and environmental factors in maintaining good health.They work primarily in osteopathic hospitals or private practice but allopathic hospitals now accept osteopathic physicians as staff members.

Salary:
     $110,000

Education:
         Must attend medical school after three or four years of college. Undergraduate requirements include one year of basic chemistry, biology, and  physics. Some medical schools also require course work in calculus, English, the humanities, or social science.

Reflection:
        I think this would be interesting to o because its not your common doctor or treatment. They also make a good amount of money which is a plus. I can see myself doing this in the future.
